Do I need to make an appointment to try on wedding gowns?
Yes, we ask that you book an appointment to try on wedding gowns. With the assistance of one of our experienced stylists, we will help you find the perfect dress from our designer collections. To make an appointment, we ask that you call or email a few days in advance, at the latest, to make an appointment that will best fit your schedule.
How long will my appointment be?
Bridal appointments are approximately 1.5 to 2 hours.
Is there anything I should bring to my appointment?
We find it is a good idea for Brides to bring images of wedding dresses they have seen in magazines, online, Pinterest or that you have tried on before. The most important thing to bring with you is an open mind!
Can I take pictures of the wedding gowns that I try on?
We don’t allow pictures to be taken of you in the gowns while you try on. However, once you have found your dress we encourage you to take as many pictures of yourself with your family & friends as you like.
Who should come with me when I try on wedding gowns?
You should invite one or two of your closest friends and family members whose opinion and taste matters the most to you. It is important to have those closest to you during this very important time and to share the experience of finding THE ONE. We have found that bringing too many peoples can take the focus away from you and your opinion can get lost in the mix. It can make choosing your wedding dress difficult at times.
When does Nicholas & Elizabeth Bridal get new wedding gowns in stock?
We are always receiving new gowns in our boutique. If you have a specific dress in mind, we recommend calling ahead of your appointment to check its availability. Otherwise, if you bring in a picture of the wedding gown at your appointment, we will do our best to find a dress similar to the style that you listed as we can for you, if we do not have the exact gown to try on.
How far in advance should I order my wedding gown?

Will I need to make any alterations to my wedding gown when it comes in?
Most Brides need to have some kind of alterations done when their dress comes in. When ordering, your Stylist will take your measurements (bust/waist/hip) and choose the best size for you according to the designer’s sizing chart. When it arrives in our boutique, you will need to have it altered with our seamstress, so that she can shape it to the exact fit that you need.

We do recommend ordering a style of dress with an empire waist to allow for a growing baby bump or a maternity style dress. Once you talk to your in-store stylist and our seamstress, you will have a better idea of what individual options are available for your bridal party and together we can make the best decision for your bridal party.
